Hello; interesting episode, thanks for tackling it. While I myself am not particularly "right-wing" (like you, I don't care much for such hard-edged categories) I can empathize with the isolation felt by the woman who sent the email. I didn't catch if it was said outright, but I gathered that this particular listening identified in some way with Wicca or a related path. This listening might be comforted to know that there are other pagan traditions whose followers often have more conservative political leanings. There is, so I understand it, a fair number of Asatruar and other Heathens in Texas; Asatru as a tradition is quite different from Wicca, but this woman might find some kindred spirits. Just a thought. Thanks for the podcast, I look forward to hearing more.
