Today's podshow is a discussion on spiritual trailblazing -- or as I have referred to it:  "how I got from over there to over here".  I discuss the path that brought me from my early life as a student in a Catholic boys' school through to where I am now in neo-Paganism.

The spoken word segment features a poem from my Lone Wolf series:  "Between the Past and Future".

Musical feature is "Raggle Taggle Gypsies" by Damh the Bard from his album "Herne's Apprentice".  Damh's music can be found at his website located at:  http://www.paganmusic.co.uk/ .

Hope its been an excellent Samhain Eve for everyone!  Continuing with the two part talk on Samhain.  This time, I'm focusing on the concept of venerating those who have gone before us on this Path -- and not just those who have passed on.

Spoken word segment is my own poem "Lone Wolf:  High Above the Tree Line"

First music segment is "A Rabbit For Halloween" by Marc Gunn.  Marc's music can be found at http://www.marcgunn.com/.  The second music segment is "Night Dance" from Green Druid.  Their website is located at http://greendruid.party-films.com/.

This is a re-mix of the original show that was done in an mp4 format.  There were a few sound issues, which I didn't qc the program for.  So I remixed into this mp3 format.  The show topic is on Renaissance Faires and the fact that Pagans are so attracted to the thematic format.  I also discuss why I don't do politics.  Email:  elfster@gmail.com.  Thanks to VG Lovecraft for pointing out the sound quality issues!

Hi ya'll.  VG Lovecraft pointed out that the show had a ton of sound issues in the mp4 format.  So I removed that file and am currently recompiling into an mp3 format from the original mix.  Sorry about the quality in the mp4 format.  Obviously...that's not quite ready for primetime as I thought it was.  I should have the remixed mp3 format up in about 30 minutes.  Again, my apologies for not qc-ing the show better on that mix.

hey ya'll.  I apologize for not having a podcast out over the last few weeks.  Blame it on my poor time management and assesment skills.  I'm a bit overloaded with the assignment schedule for my first class in my Doctoral program.  The schedule called for eight papers and two tests over thrity days.  So, here I am with nine days left in class, three papers and one exam left to finish.  Couple that with a busy work schedule, and my time is really crunched right now.  The next two classes (also both thirty days in length) promise to have just as hectic a schedule.  After that, my classes become ninety days in length, and things should return back to normal.  So my apologies for not having anything out -- and I will most likely have very little time to get anything out during the next two months.  Sorry to say, but my class work comes first...

In the meantime, please remember that there are a lot of other great podcasts out there that continue to put out excellent shows:  The Secrets in Plain Sight!, The Wigglian Way, The Broom Closet, A Pagan Heart in Maine, Pagan Living, Geek Witch, The Modern Musings of a Cultured Barbarian, Mid-Michigan Pagan Podcast, and several others.

Hope ya'll will still be here when I get back!

Hugs,

TommyElf
